Date Posted：02/02/2011 8:12 PMCopy HTML I had this idea come to me out of nowhere, and I was wondering what your thoughts are on it. It's sort of along the lines of the Photo Med,,,but not really. I was thinking about putting up a photo of beautiful scenery (your flower today inspired me, lol), and asking members to share what they feel or what they see or what their thoughts are from looking at the photograph? You never know, people could have memories of a vacation place that they visited that they might like to share, or whatever. The photo would be changed once a month as well, giving them plenty of time to check it out and write something. I want to stay on the theme of the spiritual of course, but it doesn't mean that we can't make it a tad interesting as well. I think that could be a form of a spirtual expercise for people as well depening upon their frame of mind. It is a board where it's easy to keep up with because it's just a matter of changing a photo every month, lol... I guess I've been in the mood to create lately for some reason. It might be better to wait until we have more members, so there will be some activity, but I was thinking that it might be a draw for new members to see that we have a lot of interesting categories in advance once the site is put in the Showcase and I list it with the paid Google thing. Undecided... Thanks. |

You couldn't even keep up with reading most of it. After that group was moved when MSN closed down, only about 155 people followed that group to the new location, and the members don't really do that much posting at all.
I'm hoping that I (we) can generate people with a few of the things that I'm going to try. Even when I had put up the Free Google thing on CS, I got three new members immediately, and I sincerely believe that they came from there, so we'll see what happens. I'd like to find ways to make people interested in commenting and becoming involved if possible. I mean, what's the point of all of the work if there is hardly any member participation. I honestly have a very good feeling about it though, or else I wouldn't bother working so hard at it. All new things take time, and need a chance to grow. But I feel as though the energy is high and vibes are good,,,so we'll go from there,,,lol. Skyooxx |
