I don't like to bake so much, but I do have a passion for making pies, and once in awhile chocolate cakes.  I ususally make my pies sort of fancy with a lattice top crust, but I felt lazy on this particular day,,,so no lattice top...lol. As mentioned in my last post on something that I created, I always use my dad's really old restaurant pans for just about everything and to place underneath the pies while baking,,,etc. I'm certain my pies weigh at least 10 pounds,,,rofl. A little tip for all of you bakers out there,,,use milk generously brushed on with a little brush on whatever you are baking instead of using egg yokes, because it works so much better and they come out golden. I just thought I'd share a few pics of my peach & apple pie... Hope it makes you all hungry,,,lol..

I often think, wouldn't it be great if we could all get together and have a brunch or something? I think that would be fantastic.  Maybe one day, it will happen!!
