So happy to hear from you. I was having lots of trouble with back and neck problems and haven't been on the pc checking in as much as I should. I sure hope that I didn't miss anyone's birthday,,, It's much better now, but still troubles me from time to time. So sorry about the job scene. I know, it's gotten extremely scary in the country these days, so many people still out of work. Bruce had finally found a good job last March and was doing well, and wouldn't you know it, just today, he calls me from there and said that something strange is going on because they passed out the paychecks tonight on the job and he normally doesn't get paid until Fridays, which is a direct deposit. So, who knows, they might lay everyone off from this new job too. He also said that there was some sort of court document floating around about the company, so something is definitely up there. Fingers crossed, but it doesn't sound too good.

I was thinking of asking Waya and Cajun about trying to get a casual Chat/Reading Night soon. Maybe we can all thow some cards around and see what comes along. Let me know if you would be interested. We are a small group, but I know at least three people that would join in other than Waya and Cajun, so it might be a fun time catching up as well. Again, I'm really sorry Gyps that a fantastic stable job has not come along yet, but I certainly believe in you and know that one day soon, something great will turn up for you. You are too good of a person to have to struggle for so long... Thanks for taking the time to write and say hello... Let me know about a Reading Night when you can.

Hi Sky ( funny how that rhymes),

Thought I'd let you know what's been happening. I did get that job and everything looked great, except I somehow managed to offend (definitely not intentionally) someone who had more clout than I did - so I'm back on the street looking again. After all this time I really should be getting good at it, don't you think.

I do hope things are well with you and yours.
