CLAIR SENSES
This collective word phrase includes any or all types of psychic sensitivity corresponding to the senses: seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, tasting, touching. Clair Senses in psychic terms are translated:
clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, clairscent, clairtangency, and clairgustance. Additional gifts are clairempathy and channeling.
CLAIRVOYANCE
Clairvoyant (clear vision) -- To reach into another vibrational frequency and visually perceive "within the mind's eye" something existing in that realm. A clairvoyant is one who receives extrasensory impressions, and symbols in the form of "inner sight" or mental images which are perceived without the aid of the physical eyes and beyond the limitations of ordinary time and space. These impressions are more easily perceived in an alpha state and during meditation, though many clairvoyants can obtain visual information regarding the past, present and future in a variety of environments.
CLAIRAUDIENCE
Clairaudience (clear audio /hearing) -- To perceive sounds or words and extrasensory noise, from sources broadcast from spiritual or ethereal realm, in the form of "inner ear" or mental tone which are perceived without the aid of the physical ear and beyond the limitations of ordinary time and space. These tones and vibrations are more easily perceived in an alpha state and during meditation, though many clairaudients can obtain verbal and sound-related information regarding the past, present and future in a variety of environments. Most Channelers (also known as Mediums) work with both clairvoyance and clairaudience.
CLAIRSENTIENCE
Clairsentience (clear sensation or feeling) - To perceive information by a "feeling" within the whole body, without any outer stimuli related to the feeling or information. (Also see clairempathy)
CLAIRSCENT
Clairscent (clear smelling) – To smell a fragrance/odor of substance or food which is not in one's surroundings. These odors are perceived without the aid of the physical nose and beyond the limitations of ordinary time and space.
CLAIRTANGENCY
Clairtangency (clear touching) -- More commonly known as psychometry. To handle an object or touch an area and perceive through the palms of one's hands information about the article or its owner or history that was not previously known by the clairtangent.
CLAIRGUSTANCE
Clairgustance (clear tasting) -- To taste a substance without putting anything in one's mouth. It is claimed that those who possess this ability are able to perceive the essence of a substance from the spiritual or ethereal realms through taste.
CLAIREMPATHY
Clairempathy (clear emotion) – An Empath is a person who can psychically tune in to the emotional experience of a person, place or animal. Clairempathy is a type of telepathy to sense or feel within one's self, the attitude, emotion or ailment of another person or entity. Empaths tune into the vibrations and "feel" the tones of the aura.
CHANNEL/CHANNELING
Channel -- A person who allows his/her body and mind to be used as a mechanism for etheric world intelligence to bring psychic information or healing energy to others. Channeling -- To allow an etheric world intelligence to enter one's mind and impress thoughts upon the consciousness to be spoken aloud, using one's voice or body to deliver the information or healing energy.

In life we are all different therefore we will all perceive or be sensitive to energy differently and there are four ways to interpret an incoming thought, pattern or energy. Most of us will perceive primarily by one and partially by the other three.
Clairaudience - Intuitive
This is a person who will pick up a thought and hear it. This persons mental or intellectual understanding is very important and they can make good leaders. We all know someone that we would say was a mental person, always having to understand mentally. They carefully think things through. If this person were to become enlightened they would have the ability to become a medium, someone who channels information from entities who have passed over, because their most heightened sensitivity is to hear.
Clairvoyance- Visionary
This is a person who will pick up a thought and see it. This person has the ability to transform a thought into a vision, symbol or in colour by using their mind's eye. If an artist, a decorator, a creative person, someone who mainly uses the right side of their brain were to become enlightened they would have the ability to read auras, our chakras, draw guides and this is how they would channel what they received because the ability to see images is their most heightened sensitivity.
Clairsentience - Prophetic (1)
This is a person who will pick up a thought and just knows it. This person is sensitive to precognition and has hunches, dreams and knowings and this person usually deals with the future or present and how it will affect another. If you were to meet an enlightened Prophetic you would be able to get some information about your 'line of probability', tomorrow is not set in time remember. This could be a person who has a dream about something and that dream turns out to happen in reality. They have the ability of prediction because they 'just know' and can tune into and understand their hunches.
Clairsentience - Feeler (2)
This is a person who will pick up a thought and transform it immediately into a feeling. This persons life can revolve around how it feels to them. Their sense of touch is well-developed and they have the ability to know people by feeling what they feel. After enlightenment, this is someone would have the ability to practice psychometry. The ability to put something belonging to someone in their hand and read the energy. Depending on their other gifts, they could tell the past, present or future from the energy. They have the ability to feel how others feel but only on the emotional level. They will be able to not only empathise but experience their pain, loss, grief etc. For instance, if they were to channel energy from a persons past life they would experience the pain and hurt that that soul experienced in that past lifetime.

I have listed below definitions for some Extra Sensory Abilities(ESP). These are senses that are beyond the normal five physical senses and are non-physical or Psychic. Most Psychics are proficient in at least one ability and may be in all of them. Mediums also use these senses to communicate with spirits.
Clairaudience means 'clear hearing'. It is the ability to hear through Psychic senses. in other words, to hear in a paranormal way. Someone with this gift hears sounds, words, voices, and/or ideas through the hearing centre of the brain. There are two forms of clairaudience. The first form is hearing thoughts within ourselves, which sounds the same as when we talk to ourselves. They use their 'inner ear' to hear, just as someone with clairvoyance would use their 'inner eye' to see. The second form is hearing the voices spoken out loud. It is the actual perception of sounds, voices, etc that are not heard by others and not done by ordinary hearing. This type is more accurate, as it does not require interpretation.
Clairvoyance means 'clear seeing'. It is the ability to visually see through Psychic senses. Someone with this gift sees images, shapes, colors, still pictures, moving pictures, etc that are not seen by others nor seen by ordinary eyesight. These images may be seen with the eyes open or closed. This intuitive ability comes straight from the sixth chakra. Clairvoyants may also perceive types of energy not perceptible by others or by normal means. It has terms associated with it such as 'the third eye' 'sixth sense' and 'inner eye'. Clairvoyance is one of the most accurate intuitive abilities.
Clairsentience means "clear feeling" and relates to the sense of touch. It is the ability to perceive energy fields through physical sensations using Psychic senses. This includes auras, vibrations, and the presence of entities. When you get a "gut feeling" about something, you are using your clairsentience. What you're doing is using your second chakra, the spleen center, to sense things on an emotional level. clairsentience can pick up what other people are feeling. Clairsentience often works with another ability called precognition. Precognition is the ability to know what is going to happen in advance. Clairsentience is often mistaken for empathy. Though the psychic is aware of a person's aura, they may think they are picking up emotions, but instead is mentally describing the kind of energy the subject is transmitting. The difference being that aura is an external vibration, while an emotion is internalized. Clairsentience is the most commonly used intuitive abilities, although it is not one of the most accurate.

It is the ability to Psychically tune into others emotions. Someone with this ability tunes into the vibrations of the spiritual and ethereal realms and feels the tones of another's aura.
